​Regulatory Administration
Speers Edge staff have many years of direct experience working with provincial regulatory bodies across both Alberta and BC, including the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), Alberta Energy, and BC Oil and Gas Commission (BCOGC).

LMR & ARO Assessments
Having completed Liability Management Rating (LMR) and Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) assessment on both individual properties in addition to entire corporate holdings, our team members have the required experience to provide accurate LMR and ARO assessments to all pertinent stakeholders across the corporation.
Responsible for the identification and execution of corporate LMR and ARO reduction initiatives, Speers Edge representatives have made positive contributions for clients relating to the formulation of strategic abandonment and reclamation programs designed to reduce both LMR and ARO capital commitments.

Wellbore Abandonments
Providing bypass pay analysis and recompletion opportunity assessments, our team strive to ensure all economically viable reserves are captured prior to commencing abandonment operations.

​Executing routine and non-routine down-hole abandonments, our team institute analysis relating to porous zone detection, cement top identification, cement bond quality, zone hydraulic isolation, and cross-flow potential to ensure all planned operations are conducted to exceed regulatory requirements while maintaining time goals and budget expectations.
